The following is a copy & paste extract from my notebook when I took notes on Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health By L. Ron Hubbard, from March 2019 to November 2019.
*Note, my little brother was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer in the middle of my listening, which shifted my thought process and distracted me from the book until later in the year.
**Also Note, everything here is highly postulatory, and are raw extracts from the course of my mind during this time period.

A Dianetic Release being a euphoria and an upliftment similar to Nirvana and “Awakenings”. Releasing from a formally “permanent” traumatic experience, and/or/with “doses” of realizations?
Focus on “Done Too; Not Done By.”
Accessing The Engram Bank?
“Brain Recordings” instead of Memory.
Memory can be seen as a permanent event. Recording is simply “a moment”, and can more easily be shifted in perspective.
“The mind performing exactly to all the calculations of current data stored.”
Simply not letting negative influences affect your performance and rationality.
The power of hindsight.
Going “Back”, and experiencing the future now?
Just as much as you can impact a person’s future through the present, you can impact that person’s past, affecting them now.
It’s simply, “influence.”
Not OT’s, not super powers, Nor the materials.
It all started with the idea of erasing negative influences, For spiritual freedom.
Connecting to a fast-tracked spiritual perspective.
Drive/Action being only “One” reaction to pain.
When Pain starts to become the normal,
And you achieve the pleasure from the release…
Balance of pleasure and pain.
Contorting the “impacts” of the recording, to achieve a desired result.
Through the “I”.
Original term before “Thetan”.
Through the soul/spirit
“Happiness is the overcoming of not unknown obstacles, toward a known goal. Transiently, the contemplation of or indulgence in pleasure.”
Pleasure today, can turn into pain tomorrow.
Pain yesterday, can be turned into pleasure today.
The Self Dynamic initially being non-existent in Jesus Christ once he surrendered; but in actuality became the strongest Dynamic, even over the Mankind and Group Dynamics, by surviving through his Name?
Cursing/Blessing the spirit, through the source of the “I”?
“Emotion being Engrams, Endocrine, and Inhibition”
The brain being able to control glands and all bodily function.
Repressions, Compulsions, Neuroses, and Psychoses.
Relief from your life having to unnecessarily deal with, and be bogged down from illness, and disease.
“Dianetically” removing the illness from the Consciousness, resulting in the disappearance from the body.
A person’s past completely erased of all negative influences, unlocking their full potential. Which in, being the ultimate, and only, purpose of man kind.
Dramatizations of events.
Demons on the imagination circuit.
Demons being “spoken language” of thought, laced on Engram’s.
Everyone having a demon of some sort, and when your auditing someone, your auditing that person’s verbal “demon” Consciousness. Demon is simply personification. It can be more known as a distinct thought within the subconscious, of unknowable material.
Past lives, and mediumship. The actual spiritual being of “personality” that exists in a person.
“Demons” exist in Scientology. But in Dianetics, it’s a “subconscious analyzer of extreme variables of thought process”.
The four major Dianetic discoveries for discussion are The Dianetic release, The Clear, Psychosomatic Ills, and Demons of the subconsciousness.
Dianetics: The Philosophy & Science Towards The Equation of The Connection of Mental and Physical Health, and Resulting in The Achievement of Spiritual Freedom.
Inclusion Demons, and Exterior Vocal Demons.
“People who hear voices, have exterior vocal demons, who have tied up their imagination circuits”
During moments of extreme traumatic Experiences, hearing verbal communication is being misunderstood and turned into Engramic Data, on behalf of the Demons.
“Sentences that are spoken that contain “I”, are more destructive, and applicable to himself, when the Engram is keyed into circuit.”
Not just moments of trauma, but any moment of More than usual or normal level of focus, and all data received within That moment, are susceptible to influence the analytical mind. Pain opens up the circuit of focus on the mind, But any moment of interest can stimulate that effect, therefore influencing that person.
The Engramic effect of social conditioning in the reactive mind.
Example.
Your in a car listening to a song from Kanye West.
The person next to you says “I hate Kanye West”.
Some people would then not like Kanye West, “domino-ed” from this one instant.
But This is also where conditioning takes place, and a force from “previous conditioning” can outweigh the current one.
Which can result in you replying, “I actually like this song from Kanye West..”
This is where the change takes place.
Forces of Conditioning.
Demons being The translation of thought within a person, or the “middle-man” between perception and action.
Man is only seeking to survive, and easing the will to have to focus on negative exterior forces. The optimum resolution for mankind, which was previously thought impossible, until the discovery of Dianetics.
To seek to live life based on all four survival dynamics in order, (but with greater importance as you go up?), and the mind computing the correct way to achieve that goal. Extreme variables happen when one places one survival dynamic before oneself. As Mankind being placed before oneself.
Therefore the survival dynamic must be placed in order, 1,2,3,4. Not 4,1,2,3. Or 3,4,1,2. To achieve the primary balanced state?
But also remember to acknowledge the necessary importance in the other dynamics. As in the problem of 1,2, are strong dynamics but 3,4 Have no value. Similar to Hitler failing in the fourth dynamic, and seeking only through the group third dynamic.
Resulting In the idea that if everyone “survived” correctly, what would happen on this planet?
Is it possible?
Dianetics is the beginning monument and a realistic scientific step towards that goal, By erasing all painful negative influences upon The World.
Jesus Christ survived all four dynamics.
The idea that all people of historical and social interest have achieved by surviving all four dynamics in their Lifetime, with the only variable being how the analytical mind computed the result against the reactive mind?
The idea of demons providing a certain automated process of distinct vocal thought laced with negative influence, but the balance existing of positive automated suggestion?
Opposites of Engrams?
Automated positive response to engrams during re-stimulation?
Similar to white blood cells and red blood cells.
Not just positive action but also positive thought, on a consistently automated basis?
The equation of “No Engrams in one person”, causes “No Engrams in another”, doesn’t seem consistently accurate.
Positive conditioning forces outweighing, and enforcing over negative conditioning forces, seems more accurate.
A=A=A is the Truth. It’s simply translated, I should do this, because I should do this, because of this..
With no question of response in between.
That thought process has been conditioned to cause problems and achievements in every human being.
Religion being what a person should do with their new found spiritual freedom?
I asked myself what a person should do and how a person should spend their time once they have achieved the state of clear and spiritual freedom, and the answer that I postulated was religion.
A person’s religion being their lifestyle.
The religion being Nature.
Religion not being used to explain the philosophy of the science, but actually expanding and utilizing the science.
The idea that LRH realized that the world wasn’t full of aberrated individuals waiting to be cleared, but actually the result of an already established negative spiritual force operating with the intent of aberration?
The transfer of analytical power from one person to another.
A database of what Engrams cause what psychosomatic ills?
Ron’s initial idea; to help Mankind, using the fullest capability we have.
Jesus Christ, and the Analytical Power of his “I”.
The idea that Jesus Christ used a science similar to Dianetics as the way to heal people.
Mucus’s being created inside the body, And the Mind telling the body to create the mucus’s. When someone says their throat is “itchy”, why is the analyzer sending that “signal” to that area?
Dianetics on a metaphysical level, makes it seem that illness is being implanted, not being “got”?
If you can erase a psychosomatic, you can create a psychosomatic.
All formalities of “thought” in the subconscious being transferred to action.
Dianetics is merely the foundation, and first postulation. Ron was banking on A Dianeticist to expand the science.
“Tying up a person’s imagination circuit.”
Drones & Zombie’s
Kinetic Mental Pressure.
Processing of the analyzer?
Psychosomatic ills aren’t created only from Engrams entering into the analyzer, but also from thoughts.
“Here are words, spoken into the deep stratosphere of the mind, which cause physical action.”
“A Swami, who had so associated himself in control of Nirvana, that he was in control of all material matters.”
“Words connect up with the physical being.”
The incorrect hypothesis that the mind is controlled by the glands.
Autonomic Nervous System.
Describing the the mind as “organic”.
The Five Psychosomatic Ills
1. Those caused from mentally ill derangement and physical fluid flow. With the two subdivides of inhibition of fluid flow and magnification of fluid flow.
2.Those Ills causing the derangement from physical growth. With the same previous subclasses.
3.Those Ills resulting from deposition of disease, resulting from a chronic psychosomatic pain in a certain area.
4.Those ills resulting from perpetuation of a disease on account of chronic pain in a area.
5.Those ills caused by the verbal command content of the “Engram.”
“6”. Those Ills caused from direct mental command content into the subconscious analyzer from “demons” or a “exterior force.”
Could be filed under “Engrams”.
Note the distinction of “verbal command” and “mental thought command”.
If Verbal command can cause physical reactions in the body, what about implanted Telepathic thought into the consciousness?
Dianetics is the science of using White Magic through the use of the “I” or “Soul”, and how sickness from Black Magic comes into the body.
Combating the darkness with the light, in the mental scape of ones psyche, and welding the results to the utmost effect.
Jesus Christ.
If “Engrams” are charges of force in the mind that can cause physical deterioration, charges of force that can cause physical improvement?
“Exgrams?”
The idea that the Engrams don’t vanish, but change into Exgrams. And the idea that a “Clear”, can be given more Exgrams?
Walking into the Center of Dianetics, and announcing “I’m here to further the study of Exgrams.”

Exgrams curing baldness, and even possibly the re-stimulation of muscles to gain physical fitness? Or even the gift of being able to play a instrument?

Not just curing Psychosomatic ills, but ALL ills Psychosomatically?
Turning the Analytical Power of The “I” On and Off?
A “empty” reactive mind still existing and being filled with Exgrams?
The original postulation of Engrams not vanishing, and turning into Exgrams. Such as, I have Engrams “resulting into a cold”, changing into the Exgrams resulting in “I have no cold”. This is postulation, and not 100% valid. I don’t have a “I can’t play the piano” Engram. But I can receive a “I can play the piano” Exgram. It’s better to rely on the original “exhausting” of Engrams, leaving a empty Engram Bank inside the reactive mind.
A Clear, not being “cleared” of the reactive mind. Only of Engrams. Can be refilled with Exgrams to be distributed into the Analytical mind, on behalf of the Reactive Mind.
Turning the operating automation power of the reactive mind from a place of aberration, into a place of empowerment.
Exgrams possibly being placed into The Analytical Mind, and going into The Reactive Subconscious for “disbursement”?
A process very similar to “The Matrix” and the “Ability Uploads”.
According to The Bridge, it seems the Dianetic theory of Exgrams already exists with OT Super Powers? But instead of these Powers being “unlocked”, what if they are being given?
A Dianeticist Vs. A Scientologist.
And a better understanding of what was really trying to implemented.

How to make a person dislike something that they like, but shouldn’t?

Drugs putting you in a state of unconscious input.
First time positive experiences causing the Exgram of benefit?
if someone had a bad (painful) experience using drugs For the first time, are they technically getting an Engram?
Would a pre-clear have to be cleared of that?
A very powerful Key-in is smell.
The shocked state when people looked up at the cross and saw Jesus Christ on it, was an “unconscious” state of input, therefore opening “the circuit” in which the pain of his death, “created” an Engram.
The body creating pain as a survival technique?
The Grizzly Bear Example in Chapter 11
The emotion of killing the bear and reaching 4.0, erasing the Engrams the moment the bear hit him with his claw when he was around 2.0? If it does, that person would have no Engrams in that moment, so that instance would need no Dianetic work. What would happen if one went back an added Exgrams? Such as by inputting, “He was only able to survive, with Hercules-like swiftness & power, and the courage to reface the bear, was the Act of a connection to a Spiritual Being?”
Expanding Experiences of Pleasure?
The examples are of “extreme” unconscious amplification. Analytical input into the unconsciousness, Can be as simple as someone tapping your shoulder from behind, without you knowing it.
“You must factor in ones own personality into Dianetic Work. In which a person’s behavior is varied from ones own unique Experiences, in the vast variables that exists in the universe”
“Temporary Euphoria, that plunges a person into the depressive stage of the cycle”
The mind existing in the cells.
Contagion in physical aberration.
Spreading similar to germs.
The Godhead, and the long term?
Pavlov and Engrams?
Dramatizations of content.
Not necessarily the actual pain.
The Basic-Basic
Discharge the emotional charge. Then discuss what would happen if one didn’t have the Engrams. Then to contact the primary moment of pain or unconsciousness.
Positive reactive emotion.
The three levels of healing
1.Getting the job done.
2. Making sure they are comfortable.
3. Giving sympathy.
The “Key-In”, is the most important Dianetic
Principal.
An important factor that was brought up, is the difficulty of diagnosing Dianetic treatment, before discovery and discussion of Engrams.

Somatic-Pain Recall
An Imagination that substitutes itself for recall..
Hyper Hearing, and the nervousness of reception.
Dub-Ins.
Imagination and delusion filling in the recall. Therefore no Dianetic work is actually making progress.
Saying “Go Back” instead of “Remember”.
You can’t just “Remember” and change your opinion. You have to “Return” and change your Perception.
Changing the environment (matter), through changing your mind.
Dianetic Technology being a fast-tracked method, since the original “Coached-Exhausting” technique of 1950.
“Understanding Yesterday.”
Hypnotism puts one to sleep.
Dianetics wakes one up.
Pain and sickness not being a physical affliction, but merely a spiritual sensation.
Amnesia Hypnotic Trance.
Scientology can clear the planet.
They just cant expect people to pay for it.
It can no longer be sold as a ground breaking idea. But a modern day platform for the individual status quo.
One shouldn’t have to pay to understand the science of Scientology.
The “trance” is the gateway to the source of the spirit. The gateway into the eyes of God.
The Reverie.
The world, and the Reverie not being self induced?
Dianetics is stressing the importance of the actual science of Engrams and the circuits of the brain. Not just vocal Psychological therapy only to make one “feel good” about there Time.
The brain not be able to compute recordings of slang and ebonic terms before they are known. Such as “I’m Dying.” Therefore being taken literally into the Engrams.
The idea of that Engram self exhausting once the slang term is understood, and the recording “reversed” by the own natural common sense power of the brain?
Engrams taking the demon circuits of impression into the mind.

Or being Unanalytical merely because of one or several sentences spoken and recorded into the reception of the brain (Implied with the pressure of focus).
One could control the delivery of Engrams, therefore controlling how one thinks and Acts.

Takes the charge off of phrases.
The body scientifically being proven that it is a vessel for the spirit?
Being able to bring past lives back into present time through the science of the spirit.

Any Engram that is noticeable in a pre-clear is not aberrative.
Clears being able to know when aberrations happen, and understand their actions and emotions. And find a reasonable and sustainable answer when they ask themselves “Why am I doing this?”
The scientific definition of the modern day term known as “woke.”
The necessity of Engrams being discovered and developed, and then exhausted, possibly being eradicated (obsolete) through Technology?
Updated Dianetics techniques available to the public since 1950?
The importance of the Reverie being treated as a separate dimension with different Law’s of perception opposed to real time.
Before 1950, a person using the Reverie to create actions that caused aberrations on a widespread scale?
Dianetic Technology being able to bring the entire Engramic Moment into full Vizio of the Auditor, and sorting and filing out each Engram one by one for exhaustion?
Dianetic Technology could be entirely automated. A person could be Cleared, with simply a scan.
A clock existing inside the mind.
Going through the time track in intervals by command.
Artificially restimulated case if the time track is revised based on timed intervals, instead of natural progression from the pre-clear.
The biggest secret of Scientology is the ability to Return. A secret that was published publicly in Dianetics before the finding of The Church of Scientology.
Scientology providing data that Jesus Christ (and other notable historical figures) were hearing a Voice?
Emotion making us Alive?
Light entering into our eyes, can change are emotions.
“Push-button” Warfare.
“The mere facing of reality leads to sanity.”
The problem comes from the depression after the reality is faced.
Learning to control the subconscious forces of control in your mind..?
Noticing the force of a second guess?
Depending on the dynamic of survival, being let down, or pain, can fast track to this ability?
Lifting “the thumb” off ones mental circuits.
It’s as if God put man here for the purpose to evolve. Dianetics is a step towards the peak evolved form of the Human being
Reducing/Curing Tumors Psychosomatically through Dianetics?
Cancer is Psychosomatic.
The truth that all sickness is created through the mind, and can be healed through the mind.
Don’t view an Engram as a “pesky parasite”, but as an increment of measurement of how many negative charges exist inside the mind of an individual.
The form of Exhausting is merely “Ethical”. It’s merely the pre-clear finding the perspective shift naturally, and on there own inner Freedom and Dynamic Power. An Auditor can simply just “inform” the pre-clear of the correct perspective to attain tone 4 (and higher) on a situation.
This is perhaps better used for Medical Dianetics. The Ethical exhausting is also beneficial, but probably obsolete in today’s age.

An auditor stops after Tone 4, because the Engram is technically “Exhausted”. But what would happen if one persisted to “Exhaust/Continue” on an Engramic Key-In?
If Dianetics can control fluid flow and organ functions, it can take away a blood clot.
The idea that an implanted imaginary “Dub-In” could be considered a curse in Witchcraft?
The Ally Computation
The science of heartbreak.
Pro-Survival Engrams, and the necessity of surrender?
I like how LRH mentioned Engrams can cause Emotional Drive as the Aberration.
“Spaced out” is a better term than unconsciousness.
If any vocal line of speech can cause influence in “unconsciousness”, what about Song Lyrics during times of focusing on a song? Does the Rhyme and Rhythm of the vocal line, further impede into the Reactive Mind?
Witches and the correlation of vocal speech? Initiating a “self-reverie”, and then adding their own vocal speech, impeding into their own Brain? Similar to the stereotype of witches around a Cauldron saying “Bubbling Goo, Oozing Through”, but actually more “Specific”?
This actually being a “Spell”, that they’re casting on themselves or others? With the speech-to-self entering into their own analytical/reactive mind?
It’s Witchcraft.
Using the “I”, to go forward.
The Reverie being used only for “Vizio & Sonic” purposes (spying)? Especially if one has no interest in “Engrams”??

Based on the information in Dianetics, it seems Ron discovered a “Secret”, through the scientific process. A secret that was already being implemented by the world, for negative Aberrations.
The BUSINESS of Healthcare, only makes money through sicknesses.
Harnessing the emotion of fear, is what Healthcare is.
Dianetics is a Billion Dollar Industry.
An it’s entirely plausible, that the current Billion Dollar industry of Healthcare in 1950, Lobbied against Ron and Dianetics, forcing him to create the Church of Scientology.
Dianetics needs Jesus Christ.

A Dianetic Auditor can take a Cancer patient, and simply remove the “Cancer-Causing” Engrams.

1. Keep the patient mobile, able to move along the track.
2. Reduce or Erase all Engrams
3. Deduce the remarks of the patient, in or out of therapy, what most be his bouncers, Holders, Groupers, Mis-Directors, Denier’s
4. Keep the number one goal in mind, the basic-basic, the earliest moment of pain and unconsciousness.
5. Keep in mind the patient may have “computations” which make his illness or aberrated state, valuable to him. And discover when those computations come, by flash answer to your questions.
6. Keep the case progressing, work only for progress and gain, not for sudden soaring results. Worry only when the case remains static.
