The basic premise of Scientology is:
Things that have happened in your past, effecting your present moment.
The biggest fact of Scientology is that you are a Spiritual Being. Everything you think and do is a command from your spiritual source. And the concept of cleansing your soul or spirit of negativity, is a better way to define the goal of Scientology.
Scientology claims to do this primarily through the intangible organ that is known as: “The I”.
A personified part of your body, that exists within your Psyche. The source of all your thoughts and reasons.
When you have an attitude, or make a choice because of a certain emotion, it is processed from your “I” , and then commanded into action towards your body.
A much better way to explain spiritual processes, besides just your brain being the thing making all your decisions.
The fact is, you can shut your brain off. You can close your eyes, stop your thoughts, and breathe. In which your mind is just focusing on the inhalation of the current moment.
Your “I” however, is something that exists above you..
It is your very sense of nature and self.

Dianetics claims that visual recalls to a certain moment, through your “I”, and the recollection and redefining of these moments can effect your present conceptional notion of existence. Which is the basis of Buddhism and other forms of Spirituality, explained on a scientific scale and method.
For example: Engrams, as they are called in Scientology, are particles of behavior that disrupts your soul, changes your mood, and then controls your actions on a subconscious level.
This can also be called Toxicity or Demons.

My favorite example of Scientology is being the model of work of what we call:
“The Holy Spirit.”
As seen primarily in the Life of The Christ Jesus.
What made The Christ react the way he did?
What made him seek the importance of his psyche?
What made him go into Jerusalem and seek persecution?
Did he feel the need to survive?
Did he expect to be betrayed?
These questions and others, can be linked to the scientific research of the emotional status of mankind, and the workings of The Universe around a spiritual being. A topic that is very much based in the research and materials of Scientology.
The Christ Jesus, is the ultimate example of Manifestation, Creation, and Redefinition of the Physical World, through the Power of your Spirt, Mind, and Body.

If I can say anything criticizing the function of the structure of The Church, (something outside of The Materials based around simple human emotion), I have been blessed to be employed in situations higher than the majority status of normal human life. In which I have witnessed people develop “superiority complexes”, through a higher sense of living above the normal means.
Whether its through financial gain, mental luxury, or knowing and seeing people envious of your status and receiving praise therein. In which it makes people believe that their means is there and built for themselves, and their own mental glory and release. Instead of them remembering their blessings have been given to serve the institution, and to continue to build others for the Greater Good.
And with Scientology built around Ranks, Hierarchies, and Levels of Worth, I can see how certain people can feel higher than others, and therefore are deemed and expected to be respected on what they are, versus who they are.

*All in all, I recommended everyone to read the book The Way to Happiness By L. Ron Hubbard (As Seen Above).
